The Doctor of Philosophy (Manufacturing) by Research at Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) Malaysia Italy Design Institute (MIDI) is designed to develop manufacturing engineering technologists proficient in analyzing and applying science, mathematics, and engineering knowledge to provide viable solutions. Graduates are prepared for roles such as research and development engineers, academicians, researchers, and consultants.

Program Structure

Full-Time: Minimum 2 years, maximum 7 years
Part-Time: Minimum 4 years, maximum 9 years
Compulsory Modules: Research Methodology, Innovation Technology and Entrepreneurship
Thesis Preparation: Minimum 6 months for full-time, 8 months for part-time
