Course Overview

The Foundation in Science programme at Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) Malaysian Institute of Chemical & Bioengineering Technology (MICET) is a one-year preparatory course designed to equip students with essential knowledge in science and mathematics, preparing them for undergraduate studies in science and technology fields.

Semester 1: Chemistry 1, Physics 1, Biology 1, Mathematics 1, Introduction to Information Technology 1, English 1, Co-Curriculum 1
Semester 2: Chemistry 2, Physics 2 or Biology 2, Mathematics 2, Introduction to Information Technology 2, English 2, Critical Thinking Skills, Islamic Studies or Moral Studies, Co-Curriculum 2

Entry Requirements

Pass SPM/SPMV with at least credits in five subjects; OR
Pass O-Level with at least a C grade in five subjects; OR
Other equivalent qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government.
For international students, minimum English language requirements are IELTS 4.0/CEFR A2 or equivalent.
