Course Overview

The Master of Engineering Technology (Chemical Engineering) at Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) MICET is a research-focused program designed to equip students with advanced knowledge and practical skills in chemical engineering. Program Structure

Full-Time (6 Semesters):
- Semester 1: Research Methodology
- Semester 2: Innovation Technology and Entrepreneurship
- Semesters 3–6: Thesis
Part-Time (8 Semesters):
- Semesters 1–8: Thesis

Thesis preparation requires a minimum of 6 months for full-time students and 8 months for part-time students to graduate.

Entry Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 or equivalent from recognized institutions.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology with a CGPA between 2.50 and 2.75, subject to rigorous internal assessment (e.g., at least 2 years of relevant working experience).
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology with a CGPA less than 2.50, with at least 5 years of relevant working experience.
Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Science or Technology (non-Engineering/Engineering Technology) may be required to complete prerequisite modules in Engineering and Engineering Technology.
International students must demonstrate English language proficiency with a minimum IELTS band of 5.0 or TOEFL score of 500.
Other qualifications recognized by the Malaysian government or the Universiti Senate.
