Course Overview

Program Structure

  • Year 1: Fundamental courses including Engineering Mathematics, Engineering Mechanics, and Engineering Drawing.
  • Year 2: Intermediate courses such as Structural Analysis, Fluid Mechanics, and Soil Mechanics.
  • Year 3: Advanced topics including Reinforced Concrete Design, Geotechnical Design, and Industrial Training.

Entry Requirements

  • STPM: Minimum CGPA of 2.00 with at least Grade C in Mathematics and one relevant Physical Science subject, and a pass in English at SPM level.
  • A-Level: Minimum Grade C in one Physical Science subject and a pass in Mathematics.
  • Matriculation/Foundation: Minimum CGPA of 2.00 in Physical/Technical stream.
  • Diploma: Pass in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.00.
  • UEC: Minimum Grade B in five subjects, including Advanced Mathematics and a Physical Science subject.
  • International Baccalaureate (IB): Total points of 24 in six subjects, including Mathematics and one Physical Science subject.
  • HND (UK) Diploma: Pass in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.00.
  • SAME/WACE/AUSMAT: Average marks of 55% with Mathematics and one Physical Science subject.
  • Other equivalent qualifications recognized by the Government of Malaysia.
