Course Overview

The Master of Structural Engineering (By Coursework & Project) at Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) equips students with advanced technical knowledge in structural engineering, preparing graduates for roles such as civil and structural engineering design, building and infrastructure construction, quality engineering, structural repair, assessment and rehabilitation, and construction management.

Elective Courses (9 credit hours): Choose 3 out of the following 5 courses:

Entry Requirements

A bachelor's degree in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 or equivalent, as accepted by the UNITEN Senate.
A bachelor's degree in the field or related fields or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and not meeting a CGPA of 2.50, can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment.
Candidates without a qualification in the related fields or working experience in the relevant fields must undergo appropriate prerequisite courses determined by UNITEN and meet the minimum CGPA based on the above criteria.
For international students: Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of 500 or International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 5.0 or its equivalent.
Relevant APEL-A certification from MQA.
