Course Overview

The Diploma in Pharmacy at the University of Cyberjaya (UoC) is a rigorous three-year program designed to provide students with foundational and practical knowledge in pharmaceutical sciences, pharmacology, pharmaceutics, and community pharmacy practice. Graduates are well-prepared to support pharmacists in hospital and retail settings, with opportunities to further their studies or work in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries.

Program Structure

Year 1: Basic sciences and introductory pharmacy modules including Human Anatomy & Physiology, Organic Chemistry, Biostatistics, Principles of Pharmacology, and Introduction to Pharmacy Practice.
Year 2: Intermediate pharmaceutical subjects such as Pharmaceutical Microbiology, Pathophysiology, Dosage Form Design, Dispensing Practice, and Hospital Pharmacy Training.
Year 3: Advanced studies in Clinical Pharmacy, Pharmacy Law & Ethics, Pharmacotherapeutics, Industrial Pharmacy, and completion of a final year project and industry-based training.

Entry Requirements

SPM or equivalent: Pass with five (5) credits including Bahasa Melayu, Mathematics (Modern or Additional), one (1) credit in a Science subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or General Science), and two (2) other subjects. Pass in English is required.
International Students: Minimum IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent.
