Course Overview

The Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) programme at the University of Cyberjaya (UoC) is a comprehensive two-year full-time course designed to cultivate pharmacy specialists equipped with advanced clinical and healthcare service skills. Graduates are prepared for roles such as clinical pharmacists in public and private hospitals, academicians in higher education institutions, and clinical researchers across various sectors.

Program Structure

Year 1: Didactic courses including Pharmacy Practice & Management, Research Methodology & Evidence Analysis, and various Pharmacotherapy modules covering Internal Medicine, Infectious Diseases & Oncology, Critical Care & Nutritional Support, Special Populations, and Advanced Clinical Pharmacokinetics.
Year 2: Specialized research projects and compulsory clerkships in areas such as Internal Medicine, Paediatrics, Infectious Diseases, and Critical Care, with elective clerkships available in Psychiatry, Parenteral Nutrition, Oncology, Nuclear Pharmacy, Geriatrics, Ambulatory Care, and Therapeutic Drug Monitoring.

Entry Requirements

A Bachelor of Pharmacy degree with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 or equivalent, as accepted by the HEP Senate.
For international students: Minimum TOEFL score of 550 (PBT) or 80 (IBT), or minimum IELTS score of 6.0.
