The Bachelor of Geomatics Engineering with Honours at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) equips students with expertise in geospatial data acquisition, analysis, and interpretation, preparing graduates for roles such as Licensed Land Surveyor, Geodesist, and Hydrographer.
Program Structure
- Year 1: Foundational courses in geomatics principles and surveying techniques.
- Year 2: Intermediate studies including remote sensing, GIS, and geodesy.
- Year 3: Advanced topics, practical training through a two-week Survey Camp, and a 15-week Industrial Training placement.
- Year 4: Specialization courses and completion of a Final Year Project.
Entry Requirements
- Possess Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with credit in Bahasa Melayu/Bahasa Malaysia.
- Obtain Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) with at least Grade C (NGMP 2.67) in General Paper and two other subjects.
- Achieve at least Band 1 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET).
