The Bachelor of Science in Property Management with Honours at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) equips students with comprehensive knowledge in property valuation, building and facilities management, property marketing, investment, development, information systems, law, and property economics. Graduates are prepared for diverse roles such as Valuation Officer, Property Manager, Facilities Manager, Real Estate Agent, Project Manager, and Real Estate Consultant.
Program Structure
- Year 1: Introduction to property management principles and foundational courses in property valuation and law.
- Year 2: Intermediate studies focusing on property marketing, investment strategies, and building management.
- Year 3: Advanced topics including property development, facilities management, and an industrial training semester for practical experience.
- Year 4: Specialization courses, capstone projects, and preparation for professional certifications.
Entry Requirements
- Malaysian Applicants:
- STPM with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and grade C in two subjects including Pengajian Am.
- STAM with a minimum grade of Jayyid Jiddan and SPM grade C in five subjects including Bahasa Melayu and Mathematics.
- Matriculation/Foundation/Asasi with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and SPM grade C in three subjects including Bahasa Melayu.
- Diploma in a relevant field with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 and SPM grade C in three subjects including Bahasa Melayu.
- MUET Band 2.
- International Applicants:
- Senior High School Certificate or equivalent pre-university qualifications.
- IELTS score of 5.5 or TOEFL iBT score of 59.
