- Research Component: Conduct original research leading to a thesis written in Malay, English, or Arabic.
- Core Courses: Enroll in essential courses such as Research Methodology, Research Methodology in Halal Science and Usul Fiqh, Philosophy of Science and Civilisation, and Tasawwur and Islamic Civilization.
- First Semester Requirement: Mandatory registration for the Research Methodology course to build foundational research skills.
Entry Requirements
- A Master's degree with honors in a relevant field from UTM or other recognized institutions.
- Equivalent qualifications and relevant experience recognized by the UTM Senate.
- Current UTM Master's students may transition into the Ph.D. program with appropriate approvals.
- International Applicants: Must possess a valid two-year TOEFL certificate with a PBT score of 600 or above (IBT/CBT equivalent) or an IELTS Band 7.0.
