The Master of Engineering in Hydraulics and Hydrology at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) equips students with advanced skills in hydraulic engineering, hydrology, coastal processes, and water resources management, preparing graduates for roles such as water resources engineer, hydrologist, and coastal engineer.
Program Structure
- Semester 1: University elective, faculty core, and program core courses including Advanced Hydraulics and Advanced Hydrology
- Semester 2: Program core courses such as Hydraulic Structures and Coastal Engineering, elective courses, and Project 1
- Semester 3: Project 2 and additional elective courses
Entry Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, or equivalent
- Applicants with a CGPA between 2.00 and 2.49 must have more than five years of work experience in a related field
- International applicants: IELTS band 6.0 or TOEFL iBT score of 60, or equivalent
