Course Overview

Program Structure

Semester 1: Core courses including Advanced Thermodynamics, Advanced Transport Phenomena, and Numerical Computation in Chemical Engineering.
Semester 2: Core course in Advanced Chemical Reaction Engineering, elective courses such as Safety and Health in Process Industries, and general courses like Research Methodology.
Semester 3: Dissertation work.

Entry Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering with a minimum CGPA of 3.0/4.0 or equivalent from UTM or other recognized institutions. Candidates with a CGPA below 3.0 may be considered with at least one year of relevant working experience.
Graduates from other engineering or science disciplines with a minimum CGPA of 2.75/4.0 may apply but must pass prerequisite courses such as Mass Balance, Chemical Reaction Engineering, Chemical Engineering Thermodynamics, Numerical Methods, and Transport Processes and Unit Operations.
