Program Structure

Core Courses: Engineering Design Optimization, Technovation Management, Engineering Design Process & Methodology, Materials Selection and Manufacturing Process, Computer Aided Design (CAD) / Computer Aided Engineering (CAE), Creativity and Innovation Management
Elective Fields: Mechanical System Design, Product Design, Electronic System Design
Master Project: Master Project 1 and Master Project 2
University Courses: Research Methodology and one elective from options such as Environmental Ethics, Information and Communication Technology Ethics and Society, Seminar on Global Development, Economy and Social Issues, Philosophy of Science and Social Development, Dynamics of Leadership, Malaysian Society and Culture, Malay Language for Postgraduates, Organizational Behavior and Development, IT Project Management, or Japanese Language

Entry Requirements

Bachelor's Degree with good honours from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia or any other institution of higher learning recognised by the Senate
Qualification equivalent to a bachelor's degree and experience in the relevant field recognised by the Senate
English language proficiency: IELTS Band 6.0 and above; TOEFL (iBT) score of 60 and above; Cambridge English Qualifications (CEQ) – B2 First (FCE), C1 Advanced (CAE), C2 Proficiency (CPE) – Score of 169 and above; The Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic – Score of 59 and above; Malaysian University Entrance Test (MUET) – Band 4 and above
