Course Overview

Program Structure

Semester 1: Core courses including SHE Legislations, Research Methodology & Design of Experiment, Risk Assessment & Accident Modelling, and Occupational Health & Diseases.
Semester 2: Advanced topics such as Safety Management Systems, Environmental Management, Industrial Hygiene, and initiation of SHE Project 1.
Semester 3: Completion of SHE Project 2 and selection of elective courses tailored to individual interests.

Entry Requirements

Bachelor's degree in science, technology, or engineering with a minimum CGPA of 3.0/4.0 from a recognized institution. Candidates with lower CGPA may be considered based on UTM's entry qualifications.
Applicants from other academic backgrounds must have at least 3 years of relevant working experience in safety, health, or environmental fields.
Proficiency in English: IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent.
