Program Structure

  • Year 1: Foundational courses including Islamic History, Tawheed, Fiqh in Historical Perspective, and Uloom al-Quraan.
  • Year 2: Intermediate studies covering Islamic Medieval History, Aqidah, Worldview and Civilizational Issues, and Arabic and Qur’an Reading.
  • Year 3: Advanced topics such as Islamic Research Methodology, Islamic Counselling, Islam in the Modern World, and a thesis preparation.

Entry Requirements

  • Pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with at least Grade C (NGMP 2.0) in one of the subjects of Islamic Studies or Arabic and one other subject.
  • Pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) or equivalent with the Maqbul Rank.
  • Pass in A-Level with at least two subjects, including one Islamic Studies subject and one other subject.
  • Pass in Matriculation/Foundation/Foundation of any universities/colleges/institutions offering foundation programs in related fields with a CGPA of 2.0.
  • Diploma in Islamic Studies (Level 4, Malaysian Qualifications Framework (MQF)) or in a related field with a CGPA of 2.0.
  • Other qualifications recognized as equivalent by the Government of Malaysia.
  • International students must have proof of good proficiency in verbal and written English, such as an IELTS score of 5.0 or its equivalent.
