Program Structure

  • Year 1: Introduction to Mass Communication, Broadcasting Principles, Basic Video and Audio
  • Year 2: Radio Broadcasting, Radio and TV Production, Script Writing for Electronic Media
  • Year 3: Documentary, Media Analysis, Advanced Production Techniques

Entry Requirements

  • STPM or equivalent with a minimum Grade C (NGMP 2.00) in 2 subjects and a pass in English at SPM level or equivalent
  • STAM with a minimum grade of Jayyid and a pass in English at SPM level or equivalent
  • Diploma (Level 4, MQF) or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and a pass in English at SPM level or equivalent
  • Diploma (Level 4, MQF) in Media and Communication or equivalent
  • Matriculation/Foundation or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and a pass in English at SPM level or equivalent
  • UEC with a minimum of Grade B in 5 subjects including English
  • Other qualifications recognized as equivalent by the Malaysian government
  • For international students: TOEFL score of 500 or IELTS score of 5.0 or equivalent
