Course Overview

Graduates are prepared for roles such as Industrial Hygienist, Environmental Health Officer, Environmental Health and Safety Executive, Quality and Safety Environment Officer, Environmental Impact Assessor, and Environmental Engineer.

  • Year 1: Introduction to Environmental Health and Safety, Anatomy and Physiology, Biochemistry, Environmental Health Analytical Instrumentation
  • Year 2: Water Supply and Quality Control, Vector and Pest Management, Domestic and Industrial Wastewater Management, Management of Hazardous Materials
  • Year 3: Pollution Control and Technology, Environmental Health Impact Assessment, Disease Mapping and Modelling, Environmental Health Project I, Environmental Health Field Practical Experience I
  • Year 4: Environmental Health Project II, Environmental Health Field Practical Experience II

Entry Requirements

  • MUET Band 3 or IELTS (5.5) / TOEFL (550)
  • Pass Matriculation / Pre-University / STPM with minimum GPA 2.33 in two subjects: Biology, Physics/Mathematics, or Chemistry
  • A-Level with minimum Grade D in two subjects: Biology, Physics/Mathematics, or Chemistry
  • Recognised Diploma with minimum CGPA of 2.75 in a related field
  • Recognised Diploma with CGPA less than 2.75 in a related field and a minimum of 3 years (36 months) working experience in the related field
