Course Overview

The Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Technology (Honours) at Management and Science University (MSU) equips students with comprehensive knowledge in pharmaceutical production, including cosmetics and nutraceuticals. Program Structure

  • Year 1: Bioinformatics for Pharmacy, Bioengineering and Industrial Pharmacy, Principles of Medical Pharmacology and Microbiology, Pharmaceutical Calculation
  • Year 2: Basic Good Manufacturing Practice, Research Instrumentation and Design, Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmacognosy
  • Year 3: Veterinary Product Therapeutic, Nutraceutical, Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance
  • Year 4: Industrial Pharmaceutical Internship

Entry Requirements

  • STPM/Matriculation/A-Level/Pre-University/Foundation: Minimum CGPA of 2.50 in Biology/Physics and Chemistry
  • SPM or equivalent: Credit in five (5) subjects, including Biology, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, and English
  • Diploma (MQF Level 4) in a related field: Minimum CGPA of 2.50; CGPA below 2.50 may be considered with at least two (2) years of relevant work experience
  • South Australia Matriculation (SAM): Aggregate of 65-70% or TER/UAI 75
  • Canadian Pre-University (CPU): Aggregate of at least 80%
  • Unified Examination Certificate (UEC): Grade B in five (5) subjects
  • Other qualifications recognized as equivalent by the Government of Malaysia
