Program Structure

  • Year 1: Foundational courses including Pathophysiology, Principles of Pharmacology, Bioinformatics for Pharmacy, and Microbiology and Immunology.
  • Year 2: Intermediate studies covering Pharmacology of the Nervous System, Pharmacology of Antimicrobial and Anti-Cancer Agents, Designing of Dosage Forms, and Physical Pharmacy.
  • Year 3: Advanced topics such as Clinical Pharmacokinetics, Pharmacology of Respiratory and Renal Diseases, and Community Pharmacy.
  • Year 4: Specialization through courses like Pharmacoepidemiology, Clinical Pharmacy, and an Industrial Pharmacy Attachment.

Entry Requirements

  • STPM: CGPA 3.00 with grades BBB, ABC, or AAC in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics or Mathematics, with a minimum B in Chemistry.
  • A-Level: Grades 3B, 2A1C, or 1A1B1C in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics or Mathematics, with at least a B in Chemistry.
  • Matriculation/Pre-Pharmacy/Pre-Medicine/Foundation in Science (1-year program): Minimum CGPA 3.0 and a B in Chemistry; and passed SPM with at least 5Bs in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics or Additional Mathematics, and another subject.
  • Diploma: Minimum CGPA 3.75 for Diploma in Science (Chemistry, Biology, or Physics) with at least a B in Chemistry; or minimum CGPA 3.5 for Diploma in Pharmacy; and passed SPM with at least 5Bs in relevant subjects.
  • Bachelor in Science: Minimum CGPA 2.75.
