The Diploma in Culinary Arts at Management and Science University (MSU) provides students with comprehensive culinary knowledge, practical skills, and management expertise, preparing graduates for roles such as Commis Cook, Sous Chef, Food Stylist, and Chef de Partie.
Program Structure
- Year 1: Theory of Food, Garde Manger, Customer Service and Etiquette, Food Safety and Sanitation
- Year 2: Restaurant Operation, Patisserie, Bakery and Confectionery, International Cuisine, Industrial Training
- Year 3: Catering System Management, Pastry Artistry, Human Resource for Service Industry
Entry Requirements
- Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or equivalent with minimum 3 credits or equivalent
- Recognized certificate in related field (level 3, KKM)
- Pass Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with at least Grade B in three subjects
- Pass O-Level with at least Grade C in three subjects
- Pass Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) or equivalent with at least Grade C (NGMP 2.00) in one subject
- Pass Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) Maqbul level
- Any other qualification recognized as equivalent by the Malaysian Government
