Course Overview

Program Structure

  • Year 1: Psychology and Sociology in Nursing, Nursing Care: Infections, Fluids, Burns and Scalds, Basic Pharmacology, Communication for Nurses
  • Year 2: Nursing Care: Musculoskeletal, Genitourinary and Endocrine System, Paediatric Nursing, Community Health Nursing
  • Year 3: Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing, Medico-Legal Aspects in Nursing, Emergency and Disaster Nursing, Clinical Practice

Entry Requirements

  • SPM or equivalent with a minimum of three (3) credits, including Bahasa Melayu, Mathematics (Elementary, Additional, or Modern), and Science (Science, Biology, Physics, or Applied Science), and a pass in two (2) other subjects, including English.
  • For international candidates: Pass in International Language Testing System (IELTS) with an overall band score of minimum 5.5, or equivalent qualifications.
  • All candidates must be certified medically fit by a registered medical practitioner within one (1) month from commencement of the nursing programme.
