Course Overview
The Master of Human Resource Development (Taught-Course Mode) at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) is designed to enhance organizational performance by developing HRD practitioners skilled in strategic human resource development, adult learning, and leadership development. Graduates are prepared for roles such as HRD consultant, training and development manager, and organizational development specialist.
Program Structure
- Semester 1: Strategic Human Resource Development, Contemporary Adult Learning, Seminar in Leadership Development, Human Performance Improvement, Elective I
- Semester 2: University General Course, Organizational Change and Development, Research Method in Learning & Development, Elective II, Elective III
- Semester 3: Human Resource Analytics, Coaching and Mentoring, Master Project
Entry Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.50
- Candidates with a CGPA between 2.00 and 2.50 must have a minimum of five years working experience
- Malaysian candidates with an APEL T7 certificate may be considered (subject to faculty approval)
- International applicants: Minimum IELTS Band 6.0 or TOEFL 550 (or 179 IBT)
